In its final season, Never Have I Ever has some tender moments as it prepares its characters for the next part of their lives, but Devi (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan) continues to be a toxic lead.

After Devi and Ben (Jaren Lewison) have sex, they don’t handle it well as they prepare for college. Nalini (Poorna Jagannathan) begins seeing a man (Ivan Hernandez) who can keep her company in the future. Kamala (Richa Moorjani) faces a decision that will make her move cross-country.

Devi continues to make decisions that negatively affect her life and those around her. You’ll be rooting for Ben and Paxton (Darren Barnet) to make healthier romantic decisions than her. Also seeing Eleanor (Ramona Young) and Trent (Benjamin Norris) together is disappointing for how she’s treated their relationship in the past.

Final say: Despite all, it ends strongly. ★★★☆☆
