A wild sex-romp comedy, The To Do List benefits from the modernness of making the film from a female perspective instead of a male.

Brandy Klark (Aubrey Plaza) graduates high school as valedictorian but hasn’t experienced many social aspects of high school. After getting drunk and making out with her crush Rusty (Scott Porter), Brandy decides to make a to-do list of sexual activities to complete before going to college.

Nothing in the film is out of the ordinary or risky for a sex comedy, but Plaza is delightfully entertaining in the lead role. She uses her deadpan humor to her advantage as Brandy works through the guys in her town.

The solidarity and support from her friends (Alia Shawkat and Sarah Steele) is what makes the movie a great female comedy.
