Experiencing a divorce from husband Dalton Gomez, she pours her heart into lyrics that help explain what has been talked about scandalously in the media.

Happy she found someone she can trust (“Eternal Sunshine”), perhaps the most interesting is “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love),” which speaks more to Grande’s relationship with the press and their negative takes on her than it does about love for a person.

Weirdly, the song that fits the least is lead single “Yes, And?” The song has a great beat to it and is club-ready but amongst the rest of the track listing, it stands out with a different tone.
