An insane crime comedy, The Big Lebowski is a perfect combination of genres that will continue to entertain new generations of audiences.
The Dude a.k.a. Jeffrey Lebowski (Jeff Bridges) is attacked in his home one night by thugs looking for his wife. However, they got the wrong Jeffrey Lebowski. When The Big Lebowski’s (David Huddleston) wife Bunny (Tara Reid) goes missing, he asks the Dude for help.
There are so many intertwining storylines that you’ll find yourself just as confused as the Dude at times. Most of them get the proper care but some are rightfully left in the dust.
Bridges and John Goodman (as the Dude’s friend Walter) are magnificent in their roles and give Oscar-worthy performances. Goodman turns his character’s entire attitude around at a moment’s notice and you’ll crack up every time.
Final say: Dude! ★★★★★
