An origin story for Disney’s iconic Peter Pan fairy, Tinker Bell is sure to entertain children and provide a small spark for adults.
When Tinker Bell (Mae Whitman) is born, the path that chooses her is that of a tinkering fairy. After finding out that tinkering fairies don’t get to go to the mainland, Tinker Bell looks to her friends Rosetta (Kristin Chenoweth), Iridessa (Raven-Symoné), Silvermist (Lucy Liu) and Fawn (America Ferrera) to teach her their ways.
In Peter Pan, Tinker Bell has a lot of sass and while she is nicer here, there’s still a bit of attitude that shines through.
The plot is light and easy to figure out, while the animation is of a lower grade than theatrical Disney films, but there’s still a magic to it all.
Final say: Faith, trust & pixie dust. ★★★★☆
