A lovable Disney classic, The Parent Trap is equal parts romantic comedy and family fun making it enjoyable for audiences of all ages.

When Hallie Parker and Annie James (Lindsay Lohan) meet at a summer camp, they instantly recognize similarities that are hard to deny. They figure out they were separated when their mom Liz (Natasha Richardson) and dad Nick (Dennis Quaid) divorced. With both parents unmarried, they devise a plan to get them back together.

Lohan is perfect in her film debut as the dual roles of Hallie and Annie. She gives both distinct personalities and holds her own against industry veterans Richardson and Quaid – who share beautiful chemistry.

Watching it as an adult, you’ll realize how messed up the plot is, but it won’t stop the tears from the many reunions throughout.

Final say: Trapped my heart. ★★★★★
