If you’re going into Cocaine Bear with any other motive than to have some wild fun, then just walk out.

Inspired by a true story, drug smuggler Andrew Thornton (Matthew Rhys) drops bags of cocaine from a plane before accidentally parachuting to his death. Daveed (O’Shea Jackson Jr.) and Eddie (Alden Ehrenreich) attempt to locate the lost cocaine, but most of it has been consumed by a black bear that’s now on a rampage.

From the very start, this is a crazy movie. It’s high (no pun intended) on the action and comedy that will easily have you giving audible reactions. There are many gory scenes, but they never go over-the-top, which they easily could.

Filled with a fantastic cast of seasoned actors and helmed by the hilarious Elizabeth Banks, the storyline is well-played.
