Hill and his longtime therapist Phil Stutz sit down for intimate conversations.

In a brilliant moment early on, Hill breaks the illusion and shows that they’re filming on a green screen recreation of Stutz’ office with both men wearing the same clothes over years to make it seem like one day. By letting down that wall, it allows the viewers to connect with the two subjects on a deeper emotional level.

Both men go into hard details of their past dealing with unexpected loss, but it’s the exercises and acceptance that Stutz demonstrates that make this into a healing process not just for them but for their audience.
