The second season of Canada’s Drag Race features one of the most talented casts of queens in a Drag Race franchise and a top three that are uniquely diverse and all deserving of the crown.
Though there are many challenges that have become drag race staples, this season puts unique spins on them. Each week there are multiple queens that could be argued as the winner, while there are obvious bottom choices.
Out of all the queens, Eve 6000’s storyline becomes the most tiring. It’s clear from the first episode that she’s just not at the personality level of any of the other contestants and she makes it too far. Her exit is welcomed.
Pythia presents drag that is different from anything seen on the mainstage, while Kimora Amour beautifully presents her blackness.
Final say: A winner from episode one. ★★★★★
