Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini are the best duo on television in a stellar second season of Netflix’s Dead to Me.

After killing Steve (James Marsden), Jen (Applegate) has a hard time with her guilt and won’t tell Judy (Cardellini) the specifics of how the murder occurred. Steve’s identical twin Ben (also Marsden) comes to town for answers, while Judy explores a new romance with chef Michelle (Natalie Morales).

The banter that Jen and Judy share would make you think Applegate and Cardellini have been friends their entire life. It’s so natural and extremely funny. Even in tense moments, they find ways to support each other.

While the show is a comedy, it handles the crime aspect well making a great blend of two different genres.
