The final entry in the To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before series, author Jenny Han brings an incredible end to Lara Jean’s story in Always and Forever, Lara Jean.
In her senior year, Lara Jean is having the time of her life and has a lot to look forward to: her class trip, prom with her amazing boyfriend Peter Kavinsky and her dad’s wedding. However, her life plans get thrown for a loop when an unexpected decision is sent her way.
Unlike the previous two novels, Lara Jean is kind of annoying in this final book. She’s more focused on her boyfriend than she is herself and she lets him affect her feelings in ways she shouldn’t.
Parts of the storyline are overly predictable, but it’s still cute and has a pleasing ending.
Final say: Teenage love is addicting. ★★★★☆
