Probably still one of Élite’s oddest romances, Samuel (Itzan Escamilla) and Carla (Ester Expósito) bring their chapter to a close in this short story.

In a last-ditch effort, Samuel races to the airport to convince Carla not to fly to London and to stay in Spain with him. When Carla’s flight gets delayed, she goes home with Samuel and starts to imagine a life where she doesn’t leave.

Despite the lack of strength in their characters’ relationship, Escamilla and Expósito know how bring in chemistry and passion. True to Carla’s personality throughout the previous seasons, Expósito keeps up a cold front but shows off some rare softer moments that will warm your heart if you haven’t enjoyed her in the past.

Final say: A quiet romantic story that will leave viewers divided in the end. ★★★★☆
